The Avalon Regoin is my fan made regoin that i made.... because.... i made it...
ANYWHO, most regoins have a theme that determines the names of places and stuff. As you can clearly tell, mine is Arthurian Legend, hence the name Avalon.
The Avalon Regoin is seperated into 3 main parts: The Head, Hull, and Tail as locals call them. Here's your diagnostic:
The Head
The head of Avalon is a wide wooded landscape, often refered to as the Great Forest of Avalon (LOL for those of us who read our share of Arthurian Legend). You'd think the wooded area of this place would be the least civil- welp, you loose then. As a matter a fact, the western forest place thing is probably thr most civil place in the regoin.
The route system between the cities of The Head is not marked on the map because of one reason and one reason only: they are not straightforward. First of all, they are not named. And unlike those of other areas, they are complicated and elaborate. Usually there is a small town at each intersection of commonly used Routes, though those never seem to get on the maps either.
Really the only parts of the head that get any recognition would be the four cities. They are as follows:
1. Percival City
Percival City is located right at the centre of the head. It is a growing metropolis much like Saffron City. Dead in the centre of the city is Ivory Tower, a near perfect replica of Realgeam Tower built in honor of the Global Champion(ironically, it doubles as the Avalon Global Terminal) . It is the center of all battling in Avalon due to the lack of a Pokemon Leauge.
2. Port Ewaine
Just southeast of Percival City is Port Ewain, a port that is the head of all shipping and marketing in all of the Avalon Regoin. Traders come from one side, Avalon Head Residents and Hull Farmers alike from the other. Due to the amout of trade going on, there is an economay system that trades Pokedollars for Poke Coupons for Pokelathon Points for Battle Points and so on. It's also home to the Avalon Pokelathon Stadium.
3. Gillahad Town
Southwest of Percival City lies (or lays, i'm not to sure) Gillahad Town. Gillahad Town is a simple suburban by most standards, but a metropolis to the shanty towns scattered across The Head.
4. Pelleas Town
Another simple suburban town, just north of Percival City. It has.. stuff...
The Hull
The Hull of Avalon is pretty bland... just miles and miles of fields. The interesting part is the inhabitants- the Nomadic Farmers of The Hull. They travel in large packs with farm pokemon and graze for miles and miles. Also interesting is the fakemon native to the regoin that ruled it before man- that would be Rapdour. THe winged dragon evolution of Houndour grabs random Mareep from the flocks of Hull Farmers and fly off... presumably to eat their pray. They don't seem to steal anything but Mareep, though.
The Tail
The Tail. What an odd place. First you should know about
Severause Town
Severause town is a town... that borders The Hull and The Tail. It's the gate into the tail, and a c*point for travalers.
Now, why would we need a c*point? WELL, LADIES AND GERMS, here's the news: It's just a seemingly endless canyon. You can literally find just about any pokemon there, because the caves have a magykal quality that causes them to dump you out in an odd location. The Caves are basically wormholes. It's dangerous business.
